Admissions to the 1 st year programme of B.Tech. are made on the basis of rank obtained at EAMCET conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in Intermediate course conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

The admission pattern is as follows:

85% of seats are allotted by the Convenor - admissions based on Rank in the EAMCET.

15% of seats are earmarked for NRI / Management Quota based on marks in Intermediate C10+2) or equivalant examination or EAMCET Rank.
